いわゆる「ジャケ買い」の衝動買いです。

今回はレコードカバージャケットの出品です。
（中身のレコード盤は付きますがその状態の良し悪しは確認しておりません。）

仕入れ後に調べると
1969年結成のダリル・ホールとジョン・オーツからなる
アメリカのブルー・アイド・ソウル・デュオが
81年にリリースした名盤でした。

近年もテレビCMで使用されるなど耳慣れた曲でもあり
上の世代の方であれば懐かしく
若い世代の方でも「ああこの曲ね」となる方も多いと思います。

「君を常に注意深く監視して、その化けの皮を剥がしてやるぞ」と
攻撃的に相手を追い詰める印象の強い曲に思えます。

Every Breath You Take がストーカーの曲なら
この曲は調査員と言ったところですね。

タイトルのPrivate eyes(プライベートアイズ)は
