80年代の米国ブランド
RUSSELL ATHLETIC（ラッセルアスレチック）のシャツです。

始まりは1902年
創始者のベンジャミン・ラッセルが
女性用下着やベストを作り始めたところからスタート。

同社のブランド展開は1932年からが本格的な稼働となり
1938年に世界で初めてラバープリントに着手。

当初はスポーツウェアに名前、番号、デザインを
プリントするためのものでした。

1941-1945年 第二次世界大戦中
ラッセルは米軍に製品を供給しました。

これらの時代を経て
アメリカを代表するクラシックスポーツを支え
競技用ウェアやスポーツカジュアルウェアのブランドとして周知されてきました。

今回は胸に「INT'L DELI POOR BOYS」
背番号に「13」
左袖には「BILL」の文字が入る
ユニフォームシャツになります。

このチームの詳細は不明で全く情報がないのですが
ネイビーとホワイトトリムのラバープリント
そのグラフィック
少しひび割れている経年変化
どれをとっても格好良く感じられ
後に価値も上がるヴィンテージとして目が留まりました。

袖口は縦方向に伸縮のあるリブ編み仕立てで
トリコロールカラーの配色。

カーブの効いたＶネックも同様にトリコカラーとなります。

裾の折り返しはクラシックカットソーでは王道の天地縫い。

現在の量産カットソーではほとんど見られない縫製仕様です。

天地縫いのほうが平2本針の裾縫製よりも動きが生まれ
その遊び用が綺麗な裾の流れを生みます。

一見首元や袖口が派手に感じ
背番号の主張が気になるかと思いますが
ボディがアイスグレーというカラーになっていることで
落ち着きを適度に感じます。

落ち着きのある濃色パンツと合わせると
大人のお客様でも違和感なく取り入れることができると思います。

This shirt is from the 80's US brand RUSSELL ATHLETIC.

It all started in 1902.

The founder, Benjamin Russell, started out by making women's underwear and vests.

The company's brand development began in earnest in 1932, and in 1938, the company began the world's first rubber printing.

Initially, it was used to print names, numbers, and designs on sportswear.

1941-1945 During World War II, Russell supplied products to the U.S. Army.

Through these years, the brand has become well known for its support of classic American sports and as a brand for competition wear and sports casual wear.

This time, the uniform shirt will have "INT'L DELI POOR BOYS" on the chest, "13" on the back number, and "BILL" on the left sleeve.

I don't know the details of this team and have no information at all, but the navy and white trim rubber print, its graphics, and the slightly cracked ageing, all look cool and caught my eye as a vintage piece that would later increase in value.
