ルーマニアのアーティストによる作品集になります。

アンドレフランソワは
1915年ルーマニア生まれ。

ブタペストの美術学校で学んだのち渡仏。

アール・デコの巨匠カッサンドルに師事し
レイモン・サヴィニャックとともに20世紀を代表する
フランスのグラフィックデザイナーです。

また世に生み出した作品は
グラフィックのみならず
絵画、版画、彫刻、舞台芸術など
広範囲にわたり活躍しました。

This will be a collection of works by a Romanian artist named André François.

André François was born in Romania in 1915.

After studying at an art school in Budapest, he moved to France.

He studied under the Art Deco master Cassandre, and together with Raymond Savignac, he is one of the leading French graphic designers of the 20th century.

His works include not only graphics, but also paintings, prints, sculpture, and theater arts.

Some of his works are familiar to us as picture books, such as "Rogue Roland" and "Jack and the Beanstalk.
