メジャーリーグベースボールアメリカンリーグ中地区所属のプロ野球球団。

本拠地はミネソタ州ミネアポリスにある
ターゲット・フィールド。

前身はワシントンD.C.を本拠地として
1901年のアメリカンリーグ創設時に発足した
ワシントン・セネタース。

1961年にミネアポリスに本拠地を移し
ミネソタ・ツインズと改称しました。

ツインズ時代にはリーグ優勝3回
1987年と1991年にワールドシリーズ優勝2回を果たしています。

The team is based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, at Target Field.

Its predecessor was the Washington Senators, which was based in Washington, D.C., and was founded in 1901 at the time of the American League's founding.

In 1961, the team moved its home base to Minneapolis and changed its name to the Minnesota Twins.

During their time with the Twins, they won three league championships and two World Series titles in 1987 and 1991.
