ヴァン・ヒューゼンの物語は、1881 年にペンシルベニア州ポッツビルで始まりました。

モーゼス・フィリップスと息子のアイザックは、モーゼスの妻エンデルと娘たちが手縫いしたシャツを地元の炭鉱夫に販売。

フィリップスはすぐに成功を収め、事業をニューヨーク市に拡大しました。

それから30年後の1919年、オランダ移民のジョン マニング ヴァン ヒューゼンは、布地を曲線に沿って融合させ、当時の堅襟の外観を残した快適なソフトな折り襟を作成する新しいプロセスの特許を取得しました。

VAN HEUSEN is an existing casual mass market brand based on American traditional.

The Van Heusen story began in Pottsville, Pennsylvania in 1881.

Moses Phillips and his son Isaac sold shirts hand-sewn by Moses' wife, Endelle, and their daughters to local coal miners.

Phillips quickly found success and expanded the business to New York City.

Thirty years later, in 1919, Dutch immigrant John Manning Van Heusen patented a new process that fused fabric along curves to create a comfortable soft folded collar that retained the look of the stiff collars of the time.

And so the brand Van Heusen expanded across the U.S. and continues to do so today.
