Mr. Jinichi Uekusa (= Mr. J.J.) was born in 1908 (he passed away in -79). After leaving the Department of Architecture at Waseda University and working for Toho, he wrote in the fields of movies, mysteries, and jazz. In 1967, he published "Jazz Avant-garde and Negroes" and in 1970, "Boku wa stroll to zogaku ga suki" ("I like walking and miscellaneous learning"), which triggered a fervent Uekusa boom among young people. In 1973, he edited the magazine "Wonderland". The "Jinichi Uekusa Scrap Book" series was published in 1976. The book we are exhibiting here was re-released in 2004. Both of these two modern jazz leaders started out in the bebop genre and established a new era. Miles always created the latest sounds. Coltrane, whose sudden death saddened us all. The shape suggests that it was made for carrying wind instruments. The black and white checkered pattern is very attractive. We are not sure if it was made as an RP product or an actual dance costume, but we were fascinated by the weave pattern and printed graphics, which led us to purchase this item. The tag reads "100% ARTESANAL" in Spanish, and we believe that the weaving and fringing was probably done by handcraft and handcrafting. The design is characterized by a weave pattern of primary colors such as black, red, yellow, and blue on both sides of the body fabric, which is woven in a modified twill weave with a thick yarn of a raw cotton color, probably cotton. The large rectangular shape is simply made with a slit in the center for passing the neck through. It is recommended to be worn as a poncho or as a tapestry to decorate a room.

It was manufactured in colonial Hong Kong. The inside seam allowance is sewn with a unique gauze seam. This is a standard model of the rack, with inverted trapezoidal shaped transition, hood, half zip, chest flap pockets, drawcord waist, and underarm ventilation. It has raglan sleeves and two lines sewn in the same fabric on the sides. The fabric is a nylon shell, very thin and lightweight. The seam allowance on the inside of the hood is a furaashi, which is a simple construction that has been cut off. The hood is made simply, not only in this part, but also in general, and we hope that you can wear it as a cheap fashion item in a street or sports casual mood. Rouault (GEORGES ROUAULT) was a French painter of the 19th and 20th centuries, classified as Fauvisme. However, transcending this classification, Rouault himself is said to have been a solitary painter, who was distinct from "painting circles" and "schools" and devoted himself to the pursuit of his own art. In his 20s, he was influenced by Rembrandt and characterized by dark tones, mainly brown. From his 30s onward, his distinctive bold outlines, colors, and prints began to emerge. The subjects of his paintings include prostitutes, clowns, circus performers, and other people at the bottom of society. The contents of the book itself are worth seeing, but it is also enriched with photographs of Rouault's work. The binding is also beautiful. The design of the cover is very attractive. Starrett Company is an American manufacturer of tools and equipment used by machinists, tool and die makers, and the construction industry. The company was founded in 1880 by businessman and inventor LaRoy Sunderland Starrett. The company patented slide combination squares, bench vises, and shoe hook fasteners. The company manufactures precision steel rulers and tapes, calipers, micrometers, and dials. This book is a compilation of the tools the manufacturer has produced over the 50 years since its founding and is accompanied by illustrations. The book is expected to be written before the 1950s, and the illustrations are thought to be handwritten, giving the book a cool and retro feel. The design of the binding has a certain atmosphere, and the quality of the paper and the way the ink soaks into the pages have a vintage flavor. I thought it was a book that could be enjoyed not only from an informational point of view, but also from an artistic point of view.

The label of SUNTORY GOLD BLENDED WHISKY is printed as it is on the design. On the opposite side is a graphic with a "cherry blossom" motif, the mark of the 1970 Expo. The material of the body is a separate material with well-defined fluff. A white cord is sewn as a side mark, and it is a design accent to the red and black Bentin body.
